[1:44] car fund was originated early in the

[1:46] 1990s and it was originally for black

[1:49] car drivers to have access to workers

[1:52] compensation and over the years the

[1:55] black car fund has expanded to provide

[1:57] health and wellness benefits for drivers

[2:00] at no cost or at a discount and those

[2:02] benefits are actually paid for by

[2:04] passengers and specifically by basis so

[2:06] Agape your base is actually helping to

[2:09] provide the those benefits for drivers

[2:11] and so some of those benefits include

[2:13] accident disability insurance which

[2:15] covers drivers if they're injured off

[2:18] the job we have personal accident

[2:19] insurance as well as vision coverage

[2:22] dental coverage which covers up to two

[2:24] thousand dollars in networks for crowns

[2:27] veneers I'm sorry not veneers crowns

[2:29] Dentures root canals cavities and a ton

[2:33] of other benefits including telemedicine

[2:36] so all of those benefits are available

[2:38] to your drivers at no cost or at a very

[2:41] discounted price and it's free to sign

[2:43] up we don't ask for credit card

[2:46] information or anything like that the

[2:48] process is less than five minutes we

[2:50] have our call center available as well

[2:52] as a sign up information on our website

[2:54] and so we're just really looking forward

[2:56] to being able to share that information

[2:58] with your drivers and help them get

[3:00] signed up and protected a big thing with

[3:03] drivers benefits through the black car

[3:05] fund is that it's really important that

[3:07] drivers are signed up because in order

[3:09] to receive those benefits especially our

[3:11] accident disability insurance and

[3:13] personal accident insurance you have to

[3:15] be enrolled prior to an accident and so

[3:17] that's why we're here to let all of our

[3:19] drivers or all of your drivers I'm sorry

[3:21] know about those benefits that are

[3:23] available to them that you all have

[3:24] helped to provide excellent could you

[3:28] repeat who pay for that who pay for the

[3:30] blackout fund yeah so the black car fund

[3:33] those fees are taken out by basis so

[3:36] Agape is partnered with the black car

[3:39] fund to help provide those benefits for

[3:41] your drivers so basically health

[3:42] benefits and then if you also work for

[3:45] Rideshare company passengers pay that

[3:48] three percent surcharge so that is who's

[3:51] paying for the benefits so okay there

[3:53] are no cost to drivers their bases are

[3:55] helping to provide those um that I'm

[3:58] sorry those benefits for drivers and

[4:00] that's what

[4:02] who's covering them good good I just

[4:05] entered the facade that I could be paid

[4:07] the Black Card front in our case yeah so

[4:19] like case Kelsey was saying the one that

[4:21] we want to highlight the most with the

[4:22] drivers are our workers compensation uh

[4:25] which I know drivers are very interested

[4:27] in so drivers whenever they're on the

[4:29] job and and by on the job women with a

[4:31] passenger or looking for a passenger

[4:34] um if they happen to get into an

[4:35] accident

[4:36] um and they are disabled unable to work

[4:38] then the placard fund will pay them

[4:40] while they're out of work another recent

[4:43] benefit that we added which is one of

[4:45] the other ones we want to highlight is

[4:46] that we have off the job coverage for

[4:48] drivers as well if driver gets into an

[4:50] accident while they're off the clock

[4:51] they are just going shopping for

[4:54] groceries for example to get into an

[4:55] accident they unfortunately become

[4:57] disabled the driver's benefits provides

[4:59] coverage for that as well so even though

[5:02] they and not actually driving with their

[5:04] customers even if they're not actually

[5:05] driving with a customer you can slip and

[5:07] fall in the shower I hope you don't but

[5:09] if you slip and fall in the shower

[5:10] you're not even in the car you got into

[5:12] an accident you became disabled you

[5:14] cannot work anymore the driver's

[5:16] benefits covers you with income

[5:17] protection

[5:18] awesome also I I also understand that

[5:21] you have some death benefit in case you

[5:24] know one of the drivers you know it's

[5:26] you know Atlanta just go first and what

[5:29] coverage you have so so the Black Card

[5:31] fund provides two kinds of coverage

[5:33] again one for on the job or off the job

[5:36] so uh depending on which of the two

[5:38] cases it is so um the one that we can

[5:40] talk about is the on-the-job benefit uh

[5:43] which is we just call it the death

[5:45] benefit from the black car funds

[5:47] um it provides drivers with 100 a

[5:49] hundred thousand dollars of compensation

[5:52] um or the driver's families for a

[5:55] hundred thousand dollars compensation a

[5:57] hundred thousand dollars hundred

[5:58] thousand dollars compensation for the

[6:00] family of the drivers which is already

[6:03] included in in the benefit that the

[6:05] driver is already included in the

[6:06] benefits there's no extra cost from

[6:08] having that

[6:09] um drivers don't have to worry about

[6:11] um having to pay for any of this no

[6:13] deductibles no premiums

[6:15] um it's everything is at no cost so the

[6:18] only thing that the driver needed

[6:20] subscribe their name with you and and be

[6:23] there that's it they must be enrolled um

[6:25] prior to an accident or something

[6:27] happening so that is our priority making

[6:30] sure that they're enrolled because those

[6:31] benefits are only accessible if you are

[6:33] enrolled in driver's benefits prior to

[6:35] an accident or a death I know I know but

[6:37] knowing my drivers you know they some of

[6:40] them that now they say too good to be

[6:42] through what do they have to do to roll

[6:45] what what did they say so um the only

[6:47] thing that drivers have to put in in

[6:48] order to be able to get all those

[6:50] benefits is either sign up a form fill

[6:53] up a form in

[6:55] ny.driversbenefits.org they just sign up

[6:56] and it takes about five minutes they

[6:58] provide us with uh basic information

[7:00] name address DLC license instead of

[7:03] birth and that's it um we signed them up

[7:05] another way that they can do it that's

[7:07] even shorter they give our call center a

[7:09] call they provide us with their basic

[7:11] information again like Kelsey mentioned

[7:12] no credit cards at all at any point we

[7:14] just need your basic information first

[7:16] name last name email phone number

[7:18] address and your date of birth and

[7:20] that's all we need and that phone number

[7:21] is

[8:08] another great benefit that we have in

[8:09] addition to the disability benefits is

[8:11] that dental coverage up to two thousand

[8:13] dollars there is no deductible that

[8:16] needs to be met at first and so what

[8:18] what that gives us up to two thousand

[8:20] dollars for root canals cavities any

[8:22] kind of cleaning so through any network

[8:25] provider through MetLife drivers can go

[8:28] to a dental location and get serviced

[8:30] and so having you know healthy teeth and

[8:32] being able to stay on the road is really

[8:34] important but also our vision coverage

[8:36] as well where drivers are able to access

[8:39] no cost eye exams and then GVS frames

[8:42] and lenses or contacts frames up to 200

[8:46] or contacts through GVS as well at no

[8:50] cost and so those are two great benefits

[8:52] in addition to the disability benefits

[8:54] that Agape drivers could be utilizing

[8:56] right now and we also have two awesome

[8:59] locations that are VIP Vision locations

[9:02] right here in the Bronx and one of those

[9:03] locations is 200 Baychester Avenue and

[9:07] the other one is 665 Pelham Parkway at

[9:10] the Bronx Plaza mall so either of those

[13:01] income for the past months and they are

[13:04] going to be paying you anywhere between

[13:06] 500 to 1500 a month based on that net

[13:08] income so at the very minimum it doesn't

[13:10] matter how much you work I started as

[13:12] long as you sign up with the driver's

[13:13] benefits you are going to be receiving

[13:14] 500

[13:15] monthly because you're unable to work

[13:18] and at the most if you're a very Avid

[13:21] worker and you really like working your

[13:22] income is high you're going to be

[13:23] receiving that 1500 a month because

[13:26] you're out of that job so it's passive

[13:29] income that's going to help you product

[13:31] pay for whatever bills you might have to

[13:33] pay if you're worried oh my God my

[13:35] shoulder is dislocated I cannot work

[13:36] right now how am I going to pay for my

[13:38] bills how am I going to pay for my car

[13:39] the driver's benefits is there to

[13:41] provide that income protection awesome I
