[0:27] limousine commission the regulation in

[0:29] the city is all for the taxi taxi the

[0:34] new taxi the taxi drivers of New York

[0:37] City today we're going to follow into

[0:39] the uh the news we we've been talking

[0:43] about about the new plates new place for

[0:46] taxi and limousine commission uh so the

[0:49] new playful new taxis for the Liberty

[0:51] industry of black art has been frozen

[0:54] for the last three years so we they are

[0:57] speculating now that they eventually

[0:59] they're gonna I give out they're gonna

[1:01] register 1 000 new plate

[1:05] 1000 new place but but they have not

[1:09] decided yet one of the of the

[1:11] inclination for our commissioner TLC

[1:13] commissioner uh Mr David do is that he

[1:17] wants to assign those new plates to a

[1:21] electric vehicle easy vehicle only

[1:24] that's one of the suggestions that his

[1:27] inclination so up to now has not been

[1:32] decided yet to wound which kind of

[1:35] driver uh which kind of driver to

[1:37] Corporation independent uh Medical

[1:40] Transportation basis we don't know yet

[1:43] uh what is going to be decided uh from

[1:47] the taxi and limousine Commission but we

[1:50] do understand that they they we receive

[1:52] a memo that the commissioner Mr do is

[1:55] inclining to to about new plates given

[1:58] to Evie vehicle electrical vehicle

[2:02] uh and not only that that according to

[2:06] the conversation we have with the you

[2:09] know the the representative from the

[2:12] industry the the city sir Angelus Jose

[2:15] altamirano they they have been been

[2:18] talking with the with the commissioner

[2:20] and the commissioner is basically

[2:22] inclined that the whole industry changed

[2:25] to EV vehicle what

[2:29] bro what are you talking about man in

[2:32] the next 17 years that everybody has an

[2:35] electrical vehicle we agree we are okay

[2:38] with that but

[2:40] the city the state the commissioner you

[2:43] should have alternative for our drivers

[2:45] to get the new cars because remember I

[2:48] we want to remind the commissioner the

[2:50] taxi to the to the authority here in the

[2:53] city does those cars is not the big shot

[2:56] uh the new base owner that is buying

[3:00] those cars it's the drivers the drivers

[3:03] own those cars and they have to do their

[3:06] investment now the city have to have a

[3:08] solution a a suggestion how they gonna

[3:12] Finance how they're going to help the

[3:14] drivers to switch to the EV cars at the

[3:17] whole in the whole industry I'm pretty

[3:19] sure most of the drivers they they

[3:22] willing to do that but I have to remind

[3:24] the The Authority the the the the the

[3:27] people from the city uh TLC and uh Mr

[3:31] Mayor and the government that's we have

[3:35] so many drivers that are still hustling

[3:38] to pay the last card they bought so

[3:41] there is still all morning most of the

[3:43] drivers all morning or they rent a car

[3:46] and they have no no uh the resources to

[3:51] buy those new new car we're talking

[3:53] about 45 60 70 80 000 dollar cars which

[3:58] is the the city is suggesting to to

[4:01] switch the whole industry but in the

[4:04] meantime going back

[4:05] the 1000 plates that they approve they

[4:09] have not decided yet to to whom they're

[4:12] gonna assign they they incline it they

[4:14] want that those play goes to electric

[4:17] vehicle only easy only

[4:20] now you don't go get your cars because

[4:23] you have first you have to wait until

[4:26] they they decide to whom those plates

[4:30] are going to be assigned so please don't

[4:35] get your car before the plate but in

[4:37] this case it's a heavy uh vehicle

[4:43] you're gonna be one of the the person

[5:20] lack of of drivers in the city we need

[6:04] car Black Card uh drivers are covered by

[6:09] the black car phone it's a Workers

[6:12] Compensation Insurance up to now when

[6:15] you have an accident you during a job in

[6:20] the way to pick up somebody or on the

[6:22] way to drop off somebody in the job you

[6:25] were covered by this workplace

[6:27] Compensation Insurance about starting

[6:29] this month November November 1st uh 2022

[6:35] this insurance listen to this the black

[6:39] car phone the workers compensation is it

[6:41] will cover the drivers regardless where

[6:45] they have an accident if you have an

[6:47] accident in your house in another work

[6:50] uh in the street and your disability

[6:53] because of that you're gonna be uh

[6:56] covered by this is your black card form

[6:58] uh working compensation uh but the the

[7:02] the 30 that

[7:05] one month after you have the accident

[7:07] they gonna start the coverage for up to

[7:10] one year they're gonna pay you as you

[7:13] were working regardless where that

[7:16] accident happened it's very important

[7:18] remember this use used to be that they

[7:21] covered only when you have a job or

[7:23] you're on your way to pick up somebody

[7:25] but now that they extending that

[7:28] coverage to uh to you when you have an

[7:32] accident out of the job out of the the

[7:34] driving uh uh

[7:38] but even though you're not driving

[7:40] you're not driving you you can have an

[7:42] accident anyplace else and that the

[7:44] black car phone is going to be covering

[7:46] you your workers compensation your

[7:48] disability for up to one year so you're

[7:51] gonna get paid even though you have an

[7:53] accident out of the the industry out of

[7:56] you your job so that's good that's good

[7:59] new for the drivers working conversation

[9:14] calls records number of jobs of trips in

[9:18] in Agape Transportation as I always say

[9:25] the base that you're working now stay

[9:45] extra bonus for those drivers that

[9:47] complete 450 or more in one day yes

[9:53] 450 one day that was last Wednesday so

[9:57] for my surprise more than seven drivers

[10:01] more than seven drivers in one day made

[10:04] more than home 450 dollars in Agape

[10:07] transportation

[10:09] don't ask me how many hours they work

[10:11] they work a lot of hours remember the

[10:14] eight hour shift and and the taxi

[10:17] industry is a part-time eight hours is

[10:19] your part time so I assume they work 10

[10:22] 12 hours to make the 450 but the

[10:26] destroyment that made that very often

[10:29] daily 450 dollars seven of those if I if

[10:34] I find it here I'm gonna with the

[10:36] permission of them just the number the

[10:39] unit number

[10:40] those drivers seven drivers that they

[10:42] make the 100 bonus plus they make more

[10:46] than 450. one of them come made 600 and

[10:52] 70 dollars

[10:54] 670 dollars in one day working for

[10:57] Agatha Transportation so those units are

[11:00] complete they get the bonus for 347 11

[11:10] 1445-17817 and the one and only seven

[11:13] nine those were the seven drivers that

[11:16] made in one day over 450 and of course

[11:20] got the bonus and next year one hundred

[11:23] dollars

[11:24] there was another seven drivers that

[11:27] they didn't make it to 450 but they made

[11:29] more than 400 in one day

[11:38] the doctor for these jobs that's what

[11:41] they're gonna get what gonna get 450 is

[11:45] amazing if you happy where you are stay

[12:04] approached by a company that have the

[12:06] contract with the airlines uh the United

[12:10] Delta and American Airlines to trans

[12:13] they have a contract to transport the

[12:16] the crew members from the flights the

[12:19] flight attendants and the pilots so they

[12:22] transport those pilots from the from the

[12:24] airport to the to the hotels and from

[12:27] the hotels to the airport so they

[12:30] offering us those jobs

[12:33] we might have a what we would call Agape

[12:37] black division so we might what we might

[12:42] need we might we might need some drivers

[12:45] but these jobs are special jobs those uh

[12:49] for this job we need special drivers we

[12:51] need drivers that willing to wear a a

[12:54] tie and a white shirt

[12:57] uh those drivers that had the the nice

[13:00] SUV uh the suburbian the Yukon the

[13:05] cadilla the it could be a Sienna van and

[13:12] a a Toyota a

[13:15] Highlander the Highlander also would

[13:19] qualify for this type of jobs we have

[13:22] plenty of job is something that we still

[13:25] thinking about it we up to now we only

[13:27] do Agape a non-emergency

[13:30] non-emergency medical transportation

[13:32] that's our specialty but we have

[13:36] approached more than once for discount

[13:37] from this company that they need us to

[13:41] gather uh 15 20 drivers with their own

[13:44] cars and of course on TLC plates also so

[13:49] we're gonna need the Suburban uh

[13:52] Cadillac

[13:54] Yukon those SUV that they used as a

[13:58] black car downtown Agape black division

[14:01] is looking for cars the luxury SUV if

[14:07] you know you think we can gather 15 20

[14:10] drivers then we can go ahead if we don't

[14:13] gather that amount I I don't think it's

[14:15] worth it so if you can help us with that

[14:18] you think we can gather 20 20 drivers uh

[14:22] that they paint those very expensive

[14:25] vehicle we have jobs for them but we

[14:29] have to make sure that we have enough

[14:30] driver because we we have guaranteed

[14:33] enough calls those special calls we're

[14:36] talking about eighty dollars minimum

[14:38] eighty dollars minimum from the airport

[14:41] to the to the plane to the to the front

[14:44] the level to the to the hotel San Bruno

[14:46] hotels to the airports but we we need

[14:48] your feedback if you if you know any

[14:52] friend of yourself you are known in

[14:54] Agape we have many drivers that has that

[14:56] kind of vehicle if you're willing to to

[14:59] do that kind of job we want to make sure

[15:02] but there is plenty plenty of money in

[15:05] that industry and that is the industry

[15:09] going to have a call or not if the

[15:11] flight landed well we have flight coming

[15:15] into JFK LaGuardia and Newark we're

[15:18] going to have those jobs but we need to

[15:20] make sure that we can accomplish that

[15:25] always have provided at Agape

[15:27] transportation
